Holiday Update

I have neglected the blog due to an obvious hectic fall semester. It's over, so here is the start to some semester updates.

New Jersey is no New Canaan. I have finally been to the new house, but it's not exactly the same. It is harder to get into the city from here, but I find myself going there more often. If you can imagine a town smaller than New Canaan... that is where we live now (Clinton, New Jersey). Our neighbors have sighted multiple black bear, deer overpopulate the neighborhood, and one of the main town attractions is the historical red mill.

I think that covers everything about the town, it is exactly like a scene out of Gilmore Girls. Here is part of the house. Front door, front yard, back yard, christmas festivities. More pictures to come.

My car is currently in long-term parking at the SLC airport. Last time, my wonderful younger brother dug it out of the snow while I took crappy pictures. I'm hoping he'll do it again when I'm back December 28th.

Happy Christmas! I'll be listening to the new Girl Talk album non-stop until the holidays are over--all thanks to a "present" from a good friend. I suggest you do the same.

the crazies are out!

I have never been so busy as I have been this semester.‎ Sorry to those friends I have neglected, to caesar augustus--my fish who has fasted for days (but is still alive) and to my brain for stressing and re stressing so many times that I wake up thinking people are singing "poker face" by lady Gaga. Yes, I have almost lost it. Almost because I have seen many people on campus who have lost it more than I have. I have seen people sleeping under their desks, crying in corridors, mumbling under their breath, and clawing their eyes out because they are so bloodshot. If there is a BYU admin who reads this--this is what happens when you count saturday as a reading day. I haven't reached my limit yet. But if you see me in the library sitting alone in a corner talking to myself, please shake me out of it. If you say this quote to me, it will probably bring me back.
